Crevedia explosion/ National Anticorruption Directorate opens criminal case for abuse of office (sources)
The National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) opened a criminal case on possible corruption among officials with control duties following the explosions in Crevedia, Dambovita county, judicial sources told AGERPRES on Sunday evening.
„The National Anticorruption Directorate opened a criminal case in rem for abuse of office, investigating possible corruption by officials with control duties,” the sources said.
At the same time, prosecutors of the Prosecutor General’s Office will establish in the Crevedia case what activities were carried out by the company that had the LPG station and how the controls were carried out after the closure of the work point in 2020, Prosecutor General Alex Florenta announced Sunday.
